The North Fab: Pioneering Innovation and Sustainability through Modular Solutions.

Founded in 2019 in Toronto, Ontario, The North Fab began its journey as a prototype lab and product incubator. Offering early-stage hardware startups access to workspace, advanced prototyping, and manufacturing equipment. We now specialize in developing, designing, and supplying modular prefabricated systems, including 3D printing labs, modular health labs, portable recycling systems,  indoor farms, and container offices. 

 We are a dynamic development lab specializing in on-demand modular solutions for the circular economy.

We deploy and integrate clean technologies as modular solutions and sustainable and efficient systems that redefine how resources are used and reused.

Our mission is to empower businesses and communities with innovative solutions in a circular economy for a sustainable future. 

Key Milestones:

• 2019: Established as a Startup lab and product incubator with advanced prototyping and manufacturing tools.

• 2020: Expanded services to include comprehensive 3D printing solutions and services for diverse industries, including tech, engineering, and the movie and film industries.

• 2021: Designed and developed containerized, modular solutions for clients and startups across Canada and the US, including mini fab labs and indoor farming solutions. Focused on R&D of submicronic filtration systems for digital manufacturing operations and laneway housing net-zero modular home designs.

• 2022: Shifted focus to modular prefabricated systems, designing and supplying 3D printing labs, modular health labs, portable recycling systems, indoor farms, container offices, and deploying clean tech initiatives using containerized solutions.

• 2023:Developing programs and innovations to support circular economy initiatives through modular solutions. These initiatives are collectively called the 4R Programs (ReCycle, ReCover, RePurpose, and ReUse).

• 2024:  Export planning and US expansion, partnership to develop a clean tech incubator in the Tri-State area (Virginia, Tennessee, Carolina) for promising cleantech startups to establish a foothold in the U.S. market, offering resources, funding, mentorship, and connections.
